The Law of Belief is a sister law to the Law of Attraction, discussed in last week’s blog. Things, people, and circumstances are attracted into our lives, either consciously or unconsciously, through the belief systems we have.
Many times our belief systems are old and outdated and no longer serve us. Often, these beliefs never did work to our higher good. For a good source on the impact of belief upon you mindset – go to this blog site.
Many beliefs come from our families and are often handed down generation to generation. Beliefs can center around health and wellness, financial success, indebtedness, life expectancy, career choices, religious doctrines, marital success, etc.
What’s Driving This Unemployment?
We are undoubtedly in tough financial times and a very uncertain job market. But have you noticed that some people continue to find great new jobs or land incredibly large new client business. Are these people luckier than most or have they laid the proper groundwork?
Their success is probably a combination of proper groundwork and proper belief alignments. Will we ever return to the spending excesses of the recent past? Many experts say “no”. Some experts assert that this particular financial downturn has been so severe and so debilitating that consumers will never return with the same confidence as in the past. This downturn in spending likely means a tighter job market and high unemployment rates. Ouch!
An excellent way to prepare your self for continued employment is to think of yourself as being self-employed. But you work for a company or corporation, you say? Most of us are employed by either small or large businesses.
Law of Attraction
My first introduction to The Law of Attraction was in 1992 when I attended The Phoenix Seminar (on the Psychology of Achievement) by Brian Tracy. Since that time, I have heard many speakers and read many articles about this important law; however, my most heartfelt gratitude will always be first and foremost to Brian.
Brian Tracy teaches, “You will always attract, positive or negative, people and circumstances that are in harmony with your dominant thoughts.” Simply put, this means that people, circumstances, and events manifest in our physical world from the main themes we mull around in our brains. Ouch! For many of us, this could be scary!
