More Deposits to Your Bank Account of Trust
We have looked at “trust” in a variety of ways this week. Another way to analyze trust is to look at the 5 Dimensions of Trust. They are:
5 Dimensions of Trust…
- Self –Trust equals Credibility
- Relationship Trust equals Behavior
- Organizational Trust equals Alignment
- Market Trust equals Reputation/Brand
- Societal Trust equals Contribution
A good exercise to go through privately or as a group is to rate yourself in each of these dimensions of trust.
Do your actions lead to credibility?
Do your behaviors match your speech as well as your core values?
Is your organization in alignment with the mission statement? Do the company’s actions match back to the mission?
What is your brand? What are you known for, both good and bad?
What contribution are you making to society as a whole? Who are you and why are you here?
“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment unless you trust enough.” ~Frank Crane
