High Emotional Intelligence: What it Brings to the Job
There have been numerous studies looking at the effectiveness of EQ. Dr. Galit Meisler from the University of Haifa has done a great deal of research on EQ. Some of his findings relative to employment issues were:

Employees are:
- More dedicated at work and to work
- Have a higher satisfaction level
- Are an asset to organizations
- Have a higher achievement motivation
- Have higher engagement levels
- Have a greater propensity for high performance
- Higher EQ means lower burnout and less job turnover
High EQ employees bring leadership, engagement, inspirational, and motivation to work that positively affect the bottom line. Recognizing this and using this as a corporate initiative is a success skill!
