Okay it is time for me to follow up on my promise on Tuesday. What is the best method to impact your personal results?
The answer can be found in you. Yes, that’s right, You hold the power to change your thoughts and therefore change your results and performance overnight.
Just take these two pills – er no – no drugs, no magic, no magic bullet, no cult, no voodoo, no eight years of therapy, no painful implants or anything like that.
Here is the three step method to improve your results and your performance – permanently.
One, make a decision that you want to improve your life in any area – personal or professional. This is the most critical step because it sets up all the other steps and the opportunity for life changing performance and results. Many people will not make this choice, “believing” that they have no influence in their own destiny. These are the same people who feel like life is fixed in some way and they can only do what they are told and expect nothing greater from life. The key is to recognize that you are in control of your destiny and can “reprogram” your personal scripts for success to become the routine in your life.
Two, an open mind to progress in your life and the results and outcomes that you can control. The people that cannot make the first step work for them are usually part of the “fixed or closed mind” group and don’t believe that change is possible. There’s that belief word again! When you bring an open mind, you bring three things to the table of life:
- A belief that other possibilities exist;
- Change can be simple rather than hard:
- Flexibility to attempt new or different methods that you are familiar with allowing yourself to experience change.
